Sparq is designed for the challenges of ultrasound-guided procedures. Needle Visualization enhances the presentation of needles without degrading the surrounding tissue image, helping you see the needle easily and quickly. To make it easier to conduct out-of-plane procedures, Sparq transducers have a centerline mark that corresponds to a centerline on the screen. The system also provides an on-screen gridline that provides a visual target and distance estimation, while depth markers provide instant information about needle depth, with no need to perform a specific measurement.

Sparq’s Intuitive Dynamic Interface eliminates knobs and buttons, and Simplicity Mode presents only the ultrasound functions that you use most often.

“The Sparq is, without a doubt, the best all-round point-of-care ultrasound machine I've had the pleasure of using. The image quality is excellent for a portable machine, battery life is solid, the user interface is easy to use, and keep clean. The machine itself is light, maneuverable and very user friendly.”
Dr Justin Bowra, Emergency Physician, Sydney NSW

“We have now been using the Sparq for 3 months. The echo image reproduction is possibly the best in its class at the present moment, an area of point of care imaging where this class of machines normally fail. The “simplicity” mode reduces the angst of beginners in ultrasound yet allowing advanced users to continue to get as much out of the system as required. The battery life is impressive and allows for significant mobility in an ED setting”

A uniquely simplified ultrasound system

Breakthrough technology should not make your life more complex.
Quite the opposite. It should remove complexity that creates a barrier
to doing what matters most: providing the best care possible for
your patients.

Philips Sparq ultrasound system delivers, by providing a new ultrasound experience. It makes scanning, and interpreting quality ultrasound images
at the point of care as simple as possible, so you can work fast and with ease,
giving you more time to focus on your patients.

With Sparq, nothing gets in the way of achieving a healthy balance
of streamlined workflow and clinical excellence.

Simplicity Mode, a one-touch solution that presents only the ultrasound functions that you use most often.

Sealed, easy-to-clean, tempered glass control panel to facilitate disinfecting.

To make scanning easy, Sparq is designed with an Intuitive Dynamic Interface that eliminates knobs or buttons.

To decrease interaction with system controls, AutoSCAN automatically identifies tissue type and continuously adjusts image gain while scanning. SmartExam protocols offer on-screen guides for specific exam types and automate system functions.

Needle visualization enhances the presentation of the needle without degrading the image, facilitating quick needle guidance to the target anatomy.

The Exam Dashboard seemlessly walks you through the steps needed to start imaging.

Long battery life that facilitates mobility and access at the bedside.

With the optional barcode scanner you can obtain patient information from your hospital-generated barcode, accelerating efficiency and decreasing data entry errors.

An overall small footprint allows the cart to easily be wheeled from bed to bed with a minimum of open area, and small enough not to dominate the space it is used in.

Four independent wheels for easy maneuverability

Large 17-inch monitor on an articulating arm, makes Sparq easy to position even in the most challenging clinical environments.

360 degree handle for easy manipulation

Cable catch bay

Three transducer connectors with fast-switch capability
